Your Splendorlust Sherpa: Christina M. Griffin
Christina creates patterns and designs she creates influenced by the sights and sensations of her many travels across six continents and life experiences.
From an elephant ride in Jaipur to silent contemplation at a Shinto temple in Tokyo to bargaining in the souks of Marrakesh; she brings it all back – in her designs and into her home.
The Creative Spark
Her love for soft lines and colorful patterns combined with a passion for culture exploration is at the heart of her design work. It all starts with hand-drawn and painted elements, inspired by where she has been and what she has seen, that are combined to create unique and visceral patterns for textiles, paper goods, and ceramics.
From a nomadic childhood, she developed a taste for unique visuals and a deep-rooted passion for transforming her many homes into spaces that reflect her life and individual style. From her formal training in the field of biology to her success as a corporate business leader, Christina has evolved into a visual designer with a desire to manifest and share her visual ideology: Splendorlust.
She currently resides in Washington, DC with her 5lb companion, Cayla (who, despite being a Yorkshire Terrier, pretends she is a human).
